5/23/16

Hey guys! So first off, sorry for no pictures! I kind of forgot to bring my camera places!! So sorry! But yeah, this week was kind of super slow! It was really hot so no one was really home at all! So yeah, kind of a boring week! But I do have a cool story! We have this family and only the dad is a member and the mom and 3 children are all catholic, but are pretty interested in the church! Well they live like super duper far, so we have to have a member drive us to their house! And since they live far away, our lessons are usually longer! Well this last week we had one lesson with them for an hour and I talked so much more then my comp did. Like I don't speak Spanish but I just kind of went off and talked a ton! And they really seemed to like it! We will teach them again on Wednesday and I want to invite them to be baptized! Ha, so yeah, keep them in your prayers! Other than that, nothing too exciting! 5/16/16

So this week was for sure interesting. So I started every single lesson today because that was my goal. But it was super scary! I also invited 3 people to be baptized and 2 said yes so that was pretty dang cool for me! And yeah so Saturday night like at 10ish we got a text from the Bishop saying me and my comp both had talks in church. 15 minutes in Spanish.. Yeah I was super nervous, but before I started I was like okay guys I don't speak Spanish so bear with me! But yeah, after a lot of people said they understood everything and that they felt the spirit so I was pretty excited. Also I am gonna share some pictures ha the ice cream I have I got for 14 pesos.. Which is less then a dollar haha, and I got a jersey for 140 pesos.. which is like 7 or 8 dollars. Sometimes I like Mexico haha! Love you guys!

So this week was alright! ha the food this week was bomb as heck though! I had some really good food! But I also had to give myself some shots and yeah that hurt.. I couldn't physically hurt myself so I had my comp help me! But yeah other then that we didn't have to many lessons and it was just kind of a slow week! I did get to talk to my fam via skype yesterday and I am proud to say that I barely cried! ha I thought I was gonna cry a lot more then I did! But I did good at not crying! I love all of you and stay safe!

Hey guys so exciting news today! This week we had a lessons with a member and we invited her to be baptized and she said yes!! The 21st of May is when we want it but we need to prepare her a little more! It was a very exciting day honestly. After that not much has happened! The bottom of my feet are getting better. But i am starting to get crap on the top of my feet! Kind of sucky to be honest! And for those of you that don't know my girl, Ashley got her mission call! Chile Santiago North! It is awesome because we will both be speaking Spanish! Ha I am so excited for the opportunity to talk to her in Spanish one day! Other then that here is a little boring right now because of the dumb fair! I love all of you!! Bye!!
